Job Overview

We are a provider of Home and Disability Services Care, operating within the frameworks of both the NDIS and Home Care Packages. Our range of offerings includes Home Care support, Independent Living Support, Support Coordination, Plan Management, and Nursing Care for individuals in the disability and aged care sectors.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and administering medication to participants who require assistance.
  2. Offer social support by facilitating transportation for social activities, shopping, and medical appointments to enhance the overall well-being of our clients.
  3. Perform light household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe and healthy living environment.
  4. Assist participants with complex or challenging needs through individualized support plans.
  5. Provide regular updates on participant progress after each service to inform caregivers and other relevant stakeholders.
  6. Support participants in acquiring life skills such as cooking, cleaning, dressing, and using transportation to increase their independence and confidence.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • A National Police Clearance Certificate must be obtained prior to commencement.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is also necessary for working with vulnerable populations.
  • A First Aid Certificate will be an asset in providing emergency response.
  • Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) or more than one year experience in a similar field is required.
  • The ability to speak Arabic is desirable but not essential.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • English language proficiency is a must.
