Job Description

Job Title: Content Producer - Perth

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Content Producer to join our team at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in Perth. As a Content Producer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for our radio programs, including developing and producing engaging audio and cross-platform content for our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce distinctive and compelling content that engages local audiences.
  • Provide in-studio production support and manage talk-back callers and guests.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the local emergency coverage plan.

Requirements:

  • Accomplished editorial and audio skills.
  • A detailed knowledge of Perth and the issues that interest the local audience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with people from a range of diverse backgrounds.
