About this Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Dry Fire Technician to join our team.

  • Inspect, test, maintain, service and install all Dry Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS and/or OEM standards.
  • Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Portable Fire Systems and equipment.
  • Installation of Portable Fire Systems and equipment.
  • Carry out electrical facilities maintenance & repair.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within the Fire Industry with strong electrical skills.
  • Cert 3 in Electrotechnology is desired but not essential.
  • 'A' Grade Electrical qualifications are also desirable but not necessary.
  • FPAS Accreditation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • The ability to conduct inspections on fire equipment to AS 1851.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as AS1668, AS1670, AS2220, ASS009 and AS3000.
  • The capacity to test panels is an asset.
  • A current Driver's License is required.
