At Xplor, we believe that delivering exceptional payment experiences is the most rewarding way to spend our time.

We provide cloud-based technology solutions that empower small and medium-sized businesses to manage their operations effectively, so they can focus on what matters most. With Xplor Pay, we help businesses receive payments quickly and securely – without any hidden fees. We built the technology ourselves, and our platform offers secure, transparent, fast, and accurate payments.

We are driven by our purpose of helping people succeed. When you join our team, you become part of a community that strengthens the relationship people have with our products.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer in Australia, you will have the chance to make a real impact every day. Every code line we write, every interface we design, and every conversation we have, is an opportunity to enrich our customers' experiences.

You will report directly to the Software Development Team Lead and contribute to providing a full-stack payment processing and acquiring platform to integrators, partners, and merchants. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and others to deliver and support required functionality across our payment platform, its user interfaces, and APIs.

The role involves:

  • Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Fixing problems and defects by finding root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Conducting peer reviews for other members of the development team to ensure project conventions are adhered to and requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Contributing to performance, diagnostic, and troubleshooting analysis of software.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for developed APIs.
  • Mentoring junior team members and guiding them towards raising their own software quality standards.
  • Estimating, planning, and implementing new features in collaboration with product and design.

About Our Central Technology Team

Xplor has multiple products and technologies, and we continue to evolve from a collection of start-ups to a single company with over 700 employees worldwide. Our team relies heavily on engineers who are dynamic and adaptable, with a lot of input into processes and requirements. While there may be challenges and ambiguity, this also means that you get to have a lot of ownership and say in the product and process.

Qualifications

  • Solid hands-on development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies, including C# over Microsoft SQL data repositories, .NET Core 2.0 and higher.
