About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join our team of educators in Melbourne. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting staff, students, and volunteers to create a safe and engaging learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Children's Program, aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with the OH&S Policy and maintain a safe environment for children and staff
  • Promote positive relationships with parents, centre staff, and the wider community
  • Supervise and support staff to deliver high-quality childcare services
Requirements:
  • Diploma Qualified in Early Childhood Education
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader in a childcare setting
  • Sound knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates, Current Working with Children's Check
