Location: Solomon - Our Solomon mine is situated on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 7D7N14R - FIFO ex Perth
We are seeking experienced Fixed Plant Process Operators to join our dynamic team at Solomon. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in the efficient operation and maintenance of our ore processing plants and stockyards, ensuring the achievement of production targets and adherence to high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ore processing plants, including large crushing and screening systems, MMD sizers, cone crushing circuits, and associated conveying systems, scrubbers, hydrocyclones, upflow classifiers, vacuum filters, and thickeners.
- Perform general maintenance of crushing plants and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Liaise regularly with management to communicate production progress and ensure target achievement.
- Operate stackers, reclaimers, and manage stockpiles effectively.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, contributing to team goals and supporting colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrate a high commitment to safety standards and values.
- Show enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Working at Heights qualification is desirable.
- Proven experience operating large crushing, screening, and processing plants, including MMD sizers and cone crushing circuits.
- Experience with operating systems such as SCADA, Citect, Simplicity, and Meridian.
- Familiarity with stacker and reclaimer operations and stockpile management is advantageous.
- Experience in operating machinery such as forklifts, telehandlers, and similar equipment.
