Clinical Governance Advisor


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Governance Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care across our clinical services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Head of Clinical Governance to strengthen governance and quality across our clinical services.
  • Champion continuous improvement and evidence-based practice to help us deliver safe, high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement clear, practical clinical policies that meet national safety and accreditation standards.
  • Support clinical risk management by identifying, assessing, and responding to key risks.
  • Keep our documents, templates, and reporting tools up-to-date and fit for purpose.
  • Gather and analyze information to create meaningful reports that support informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to audits, compliance activities, and maintaining accreditation readiness.
  • Engage in quality improvement activities and projects that make a real difference.

About You:

You will be someone who genuinely cares about delivering better healthcare and sees the bigger picture regarding quality, safety, and clinical governance. You will be detail-oriented, confident in writing policies or reports, and comfortable collaborating across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:
  • A relevant degree in health, quality, governance, or a similar field.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Postgraduate certification or experience in clinical governance or quality improvement (desirable).
  • Proven success in delivering quality improvement outcomes.
  • Operational thinking and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
