We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Markets Expert to join our Group Treasury Team at Macquarie. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing the Group's capital, funding, and liquidity position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise senior management on balance sheet capacity, cost, risk, and return
- Support the CFO on strategic issues and contribute to the Asset and Liability Committee
- Work on projects and deliverables that inform the strategic direction of the Group's capital position and execution of capital actions
- Contribute to the development of policies and practices that shape the outcome of Macquarie's business activities
- Collaborate with various Macquarie businesses to structure Macquarie's products, businesses, and capital frameworks
Requirements:
- Experience working with bank capital in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical mind and ability to understand and succinctly explain complex information
- Desire to learn more about capital, regulatory frameworks, and Macquarie's businesses
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability and curiosity to investigate deeper when required
