Job Title

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Litigation team in Sydney. This is a full-time permanent role (35 hours per week), but part-time will also be considered (either 2 or 3 days). The successful candidate will provide legal and administrative support to Investigations Solicitors and Litigation Solicitors within the Professional Standards Division of the Legal Regulation Department.

About the Role

The Paralegal will assist with complaints investigation, disclosure and compliance monitoring, litigation, external intervention, and costs recovery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal assistance and support to Investigations Solicitors and Litigation Solicitors;
  • Conducting legal research and document review as requested;
  • Classification and management of files, records, documents, and evidence;
  • Drafting precedent-based legal documents under supervision;
  • Providing support in managing reporting systems for key functions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in law, preferably with a law degree or relevant experience in a Paralegal or Administrative Support role in a legal practice.
