About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resourceful Support Worker to join our team in Gosford and surrounding suburbs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of care for our elderly clients, empowering their independence and enhancing their quality of life in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
  • Offer personal care support, including hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.
  • Empathy and resourcefulness, embodying Uniting's values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
  • Flexibility to accommodate the evolving needs and schedules of our clients.
  • A valid Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
