About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Officer to join our team at Workpac. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating travel bookings, providing support to our clients, and ensuring the smooth operation of our travel services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate travel bookings for flights, accommodation, and vehicles using In Flight, Concur, and RTTMS systems
  • Provide support to clients with travel-related queries or feedback via phone or email
  • Provide reliable and service-focused communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Audit and report on processing errors, identify training opportunities, and process improvements
  • Support the Offshore Travel Team with queries, queue-management, and processing requests via Rio Tinto Ticketing Management System (RTTMS)
  • Manage accommodation discrepancies and resolve errors
  • Cross-team training and support across the RTIO Travel Team
  • Inbox management
  • Rotational emergency after-hours support
Requirements
  • Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and excel in a high-performing team
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and strong time-management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members or work autonomously, as required
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience with Rio Tinto systems - Inflight, RTTMS, SAP, Concur (preferable)
  • Microsoft Office skills - MS Word, Excel, Outlook
