Our services enable clients to remain safe and independent in their own homes.About the roleWe currently have openings for reliable and passionate Care Workers to join our team providing care support in Orange, NSW.
You will need to be friendly, positive, and demonstrate client-focused behavior, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect.
You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.Responsibilities will include:Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and supportProviding support with academic, social, or recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients, and administering medicationsObserving, caring for, and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsCriteria:A Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent (essential)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn, develop, and take on new challengesNational Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)NSW Working with Children CheckDrivers LicenceFirst AidCPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months)
