We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aboriginal Youth Support Worker to join our team at Allambi Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a critical role in providing care and support to young people who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.
Key Responsibilities- Build meaningful relationships with clients and provide around-the-clock care, following a structured routine tailored to their needs.
- Administer medication and transport clients to and from school, day programs, and appointments.
- Assist in the implementation of programs designed for the development of clients.
- Report writing and documentation.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current NDIS Worker Check.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- National Police Check.
- A current driver's licence.
- A vehicle that can transport upwards of 4 people.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Ability to work a 7-day shift work roster.
- Willingness to participate in pre-employment medical checks.
- Two professional references.
- Diploma of Community Services.
- Bachelor of Human Services.
- Diploma level (or higher) qualification in a relevant field of study.
