We are seeking experienced General Surgery Staff Specialists to join our team on a Permanent Full-Time basis at Mackay Base Hospital.
Location:
Mackay offers a unique blend of relaxed rural and coastal living opportunities, with easy access to beautiful beaches, the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.
Salary and Benefits:
The total remuneration value for this position is up to $514,452, comprised of a salary between $244,201 - $258,910, plus 12.75% employer superannuation contribution, 17.5% leave loading, generous salary sacrificing, professional development leave and allowance, motor vehicle allowance, overtime and on-call allowances, attraction and retention incentive allowance, paid parental leave and employee assistance program.
Job Requirements:
Applicants must possess a medicine degree from a registered tertiary institution, be registered with the Medical Board of Australia with Specialist registration in Surgery or appropriate registration to practise in the specialist position, and have Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship via the substantial comparability pathway of the Royal Australian and College of Surgeons.
