We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Migration Specialist to join our team at Davidson. As a key member of our digital content team, you will be responsible for leading website and intranet redevelopment or content migration initiatives, specifically within an agile project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead website and intranet redevelopment or content migration initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy platforms.
  • Coordinate and manage the migration of large volumes of content from older CMS platforms to the new enterprise CMS.
  • Design and refine information architectures (IA) and site structures to ensure seamless content migration.
  • Develop content that meets standards for plain English, accessibility, and brand consistency, ensuring it aligns with best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to content authors on how to effectively use the content management system.
  • Lead the process of user acceptance testing (UAT) for content that has been migrated to new platforms.
  • Ensure all digital content follows the latest best practices, particularly regarding accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and plain language.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in leading website or intranet redevelopment and content migration projects, preferably within an agile framework.
  • Strong experience in content migration, especially in transitioning large amounts of content from legacy content management systems to new enterprise platforms.
  • Expertise in developing and optimizing information architectures (IA) and site layouts to support effective content migration.
  • Proficient in creating content that meets high standards for plain English, accessibility, editorial quality, and brand alignment.
  • Ability to train and mentor content authors on the usage of content management systems.
  • Proven ability to manage user acceptance testing (UAT) processes for migrated content.
  • Solid understanding of best practices in digital content, with a focus on plain English and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).

Working Arrangement

This role offers a hybrid working setup, requiring office presence two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) in the office located in Parramatta.
