Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Developer to join our team as a Database Migration Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data migration solutions using SQL Server ETL technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Migration: Develop and implement data migration frameworks, tools, and reports to ensure seamless data transfer between systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Data Cleansing: Design and implement data cleansing activities, including masking, extraction, transformation, loading, and reconciliation.
  • Interface Development: Develop interfaces for business users to view migrated/archived data.
  • Technical Architecture: Define technical architecture and migration strategies to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Quality Assurance: Execute data migration runs and ensure data quality by performing data profiling and cleansing.
  • Source Code Security: Implement Source Code Security tools, such as GitHub, to ensure secure code management.
  • Documentation: Create Technical Detailed Design Documentation using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in MS SQL, Oracle, and Informix databases.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in MS SQL coding, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server ETL technologies.
  • Tools: Familiarity with GitHub, Visual Studio, Visual Code, and other Source Code Security technologies.
  • Expertise: Expertise in Data Analysis, ETL, Data Cleansing, Data Profiling, and Data Migration techniques.
  • Scripting: Experience with scripting using PowerShell and T-SQL.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile Methodologies and Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Data Migration: Experience with data migration to MS Dynamics.
