Graduate Hydrologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Hydrologist to join our team at BG&E Corporation Pty. As a Graduate Hydrologist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to flood modelling and drainage design.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

1. Developing hydrologic and hydraulic models and calculations to assist in flood modelling and drainage design.
2. GIS data analysis and flood mapping.
3. Design of waterways and flood mitigation measures, scour mitigation design and cross-drainage.
4. Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and actively participating in interdisciplinary workshops as required.
5. Technical reporting.
6. Directly contacting clients and stakeholders.
7. Site walkovers and inspections.

About You

To succeed in this position, you'll bring experience such as:

1. Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
2. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
3. A strong desire to learn and solve problems in a team context.
4. The ability to multi-task and self-prioritise workload.
5. High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
