About the Role

Royal HaskoningDHV is seeking a highly skilled Senior Coastal/Maritime Engineer to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our coastal and maritime engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects and providing technical direction to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers in technical works and assist in their professional development.
  • Assist in business development, including meeting clients, writing capability statements, and preparing marketing materials.
  • Check and review staff work, both within and outside the firm, as required.
  • Undertake all office and company procedures necessary for the company to conduct its business.
  • Participate in in-house training and contribute to the growth of the business by identifying and executing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in modelling (hydrodynamic, surface water, and EIA).
  • Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills in the relevant discipline.
  • Achievement of financial and business targets.
  • Strong client liaison, management, and relationship development skills.
  • The ability to direct and advise on technical matters, teach, mentor, and manage project teams.
