Are you ready to kick-start your engineering career? This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual currently studying a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering to join our team on a two-year, part-time contract. You will gain hands-on experience, apply your university learning in the real world, and receive support towards your tuition fees.

As part of our Development Services team, you will be involved in real development and subdivision projects, contributing meaningful engineering input from day one. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, develop technical skills, and gain valuable exposure to the workings of local government.

Key responsibilities

Who we are looking for
  • Be enrolled in and currently studying a Bachelor degree qualification in Civil Engineering or other relevant equivalent tertiary qualification, with eligibility for acceptance to Engineers Australia upon completion
  • Have successful completion of a minimum of two (2) years full-time study, or equivalent, in the above mentioned degree and satisfactory academic achievement in current undergraduate studies
  • Be able to demonstrate well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritise work within an environment of competing demands
  • Have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Hold a current Class C unrestricted drivers licence
