As a specialist in high-voltage operations, you will play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the compliance of energy isolation programs and establish acceptance criteria for authorizing campus plans.
  • Implement learnings, provide consistency, and drive rigor into energy isolation programs to meet or exceed company safety policy requirements.
  • Utilize local code and standards as the foundation for energy isolation programs implemented throughout the campus.
  • Establish a centralized Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedure with all campus entities and determine if a group or individual LOTO procedure is required.
  • Commence energy isolation activities with continuous updates.
  • Liaise with construction teams where energy isolation activities may impact data center core operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in energy isolation incident investigations and participate in high-risk activity planning meetings.
  • Ensure high-risk SOWs, SOPs, and MOPs are reviewed and all sources of energy are identified.
  • Establish a process to verify qualifications, training, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for personnel performing work.
  • Generate monthly reports highlighting activities and general status of energy isolation programs.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of technical engineering experience
    • OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience
    • OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) of technical engineering experience
