Job Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding academic position that involves delivering high-quality teaching, educational leadership, and contributing to research and curriculum development in the field of Critical Care.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, relevant work experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for delivering clinical teaching, coordinating educational programs, and contributing to research initiatives with a focus on Critical Care.

The position requires a PhD in a related discipline, medical qualifications registerable in NSW, and specialist training in a Critical Care field. The ideal candidate will also have experience in teaching and learning design, scholarly activities, and delivery at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

In addition, they will possess knowledge of industry or work-integrated learning, ability to support students from diverse backgrounds, and promote equity, diversity and inclusion. Evidence of high-quality research with potential for leadership and high impact is also required.

  • Bachelor degree and/or higher qualification in a relevant field such as Critical Care, Education, or Public Health
  • Registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA and specialist training in a Critical Care field
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching and learning design, scholarly activities, and delivery at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
