About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join our team at EACH, a leading provider of primary care services in the outer east region of Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical and nursing services to vulnerable groups, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health care.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with our Refugee Health GPs, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurses, and Bicultural workers to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical expertise in the delivery of sexual and reproductive health care to vulnerable groups
  • Work collaboratively with our team to coordinate the sexual and reproductive health needs of women and those affirmed female at birth
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary model of care aimed at maximising the health outcomes of our clients

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified and vocationally registered General Practitioner with a fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)
  • Registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA
  • Women's Sexual and Reproductive Health certification
  • Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Experience: 5+ years as a GP with expertise in sexual and reproductive health
  • Skills: Proficient in LARC management and complex pelvic pain
