We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Accelo.
About the RoleThis is a key position that requires expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, Linux, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, as well as a keen eye for security and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Container Build Process: Design, implement, and maintain container build processes to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
- Microservice Deployment Pipelines: Develop and manage microservice deployment pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Managing Container Runtime Environments: Oversee the management and optimization of container runtime environments, ensuring high performance and availability.
- System Health and Performance: Monitor and manage resources such as CPU, memory, and storage to maintain system health and performance.
- IAM Resource Management: Handle Identity and Access Management (IAM) resources to ensure secure and controlled access to AWS services.
- Enterprise-Level Monitoring: Implement and maintain enterprise-level monitoring solutions to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Git, Change Control Processes, Git Ops: Implement version control and change management processes using Git and Git Ops methodologies.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use IaC tools to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure.
- Network Security Group Management: Configure and manage network security groups to ensure secure communication between services.
- Proven experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
- Extensive experience with AWS services and IAM.
- Proficiency in Linux administration.
- Familiarity with security best practices and DevSecOps principles.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Git Ops, and change control processes.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Cloud Formation, AWS SDK or similar.
- Experience with monitoring tools.
- Understanding of network security concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
