Job Title

Mechanical Service Technicians are highly sought after professionals who provide exceptional customer service and technical support in a specified region.

About this Role

We are looking for an individual with a passion for quality and safety who can work autonomously and provide proactive advice and support to customers.

The successful candidate will have experience working underground with development or longwall mining equipment and possess strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with proactive advice and support
  • Facilitate flawless start-up of development machines
  • Support engineering and be directly involved with machine commissioning
  • Provide advanced technical support for development equipment in the field
  • Coordinate new product field trials and document results including any opportunities for product enhancement
  • Collate field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major failures and unresolved reliability issues
  • Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to offer solutions for customer needs
