About This Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of quality assurance for our Above Water systems segment.

  • Mobilise cross-functional teams to drive critical quality outcomes and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Develop and communicate structured roadmaps outlining key milestones, deliverables, and quality expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential challenges and implement solutions that streamline processes and facilitate seamless execution of quality assurance practices.
  • Recognise and address risks early on, implementing robust solutions to ensure projects meet strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate operational performance and present management with comprehensive overviews of quality metrics to inform decision-making and enhance operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Audit qualifications (e.g. Lead Auditor) background or qualifications is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in quality management, preferably in an industrial/system's engineering organisation, or other relevant technically orientated discipline.
  • Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
  • Strategic influencing skills to promote improvement across all levels and areas of the organisation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and critique requirements, with expertise in applying problem-solving tools like 8D desirable.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to prepare and present reports.
  • Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Diplomacy skills to withstand pressures and say 'no' when quality is insufficient or processes are not being adhered to.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
