We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical A ward team. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that prioritizes your growth and development.

Surgical A ward is a 36-bed unit specialising in general surgery, colorectal, plastic surgery, metabolic and bariatric surgery. Our team has well-developed expertise in stoma care and wound management, providing a unique opportunity for nurses to develop their skills.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
Requirements
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 3 years surgical experience
  • Working with Children check
  • Specialty nursing experience - general adult surgery - Bariatrics, Colorectal, Plastics
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
