Medical Care Specialist

As a Medical Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering primary medical care to Defence members. This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve and maintain the health and wellbeing of Defence personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty and providing care that supports their health and wellbeing pre and post deployments.
- Providing medical support to Defence members in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have high levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. They must also possess current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia, along with fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent qualification.
