Oral Health Services Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team in providing essential oral health services within a general practice setting.

This role is ideal for a patient-focused clinician looking to deliver high-quality care, focusing on prevention, education, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

The successful candidate will have current registration as a Dental Hygienist, Oral Health Therapist, or Dental Practitioner and proven experience in clinical oral health delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive oral health screenings and assessments
  • Deliver preventative services including scale and cleans, fluoride treatments, and fissure sealants
  • Provide tailored oral hygiene education and dietary advice
  • Collaborate with the GP team on shared care for patients with chronic disease or oral-systemic concerns
  • Identify early signs of dental decay, gum disease, or abnormalities and refer as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate patient records using practice software
  • Support health promotion initiatives in the clinic and local community

About You:

  • Current registration as a Dental Professional
  • Proven experience in clinical oral health delivery
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident in patient education
  • Strong understanding of infection control protocols and dental compliance standards
  • Excellent time management and record-keeping skills
