Ramelius Resources is seeking a highly skilled Safety Advisor to join our Projects team at our Mt Magnet mine site. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the construction and commissioning activities for a large package of predominantly power and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for employees and contractors.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and develop corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the site and corporate Health and Safety teams to develop and deliver safety content and training on key safety topics.
- Ensure high-risk activities are planned and supported by safety systems, and open and transparent communication is occurring between construction contractors and site teams.
- Formal qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (Degree, Diploma or similar).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Advanced First Aid qualification.
- ICAM Lead Investigator training.
- Highly developed communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead safety proactively in a construction and projects environment.
- Competent to conduct high-quality incident investigations utilizing industry-standard tools.
