Job Description:

As a skilled professional in plumbing maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential houses and eco villages. Your primary focus will be on undertaking day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of plant and equipment to identify potential issues
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility
  • Develop thorough scopes of corrective work to facilitate effective planning
  • Cultivate strong relationships through effective communication and collaboration
  • Take proactive steps to maintain high standards of behavior and performance
  • Work closely with the Housing Department to implement business plans aligned with site strategies
  • Monitor the Housing Maintenance work plan and escalate unplanned or non-routine activities to supervisors

Requirements:

  • Holding a relevant trade qualification in plumbing
  • Possessing a valid Australian C class driver's license
  • Having certificates in HIAB, EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights, Dogging, and Rigging (Desirable)
  • A mix of experience in both domestic and mining operations
  • Proficiency in computer literacy to use SAP, Fiori, MS Excel, and Word
  • A proven track record of safety management
  • Ability to work autonomously at a high standard
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
