Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for undertaking day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

You will work across our Newman Housing Portfolio on a residential or FIFO arrangement with 12 hour working days. Your role will involve performing planned, breakdown and shutdown activities in regard to housing maintenance.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong track record of safety management, excellent communication and relationship management skills, and the ability to work autonomously at a high standard.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Plumbing Trade Qualification
  • A valid Australian C class driver's license
  • HIAB, EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights, Dogging and Rigging Certificates (desirable)
  • Mix of experience in domestic work and mining operations
  • Computer Literacy to use SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word systems
