We are currently seeking highly skilled and compassionate individuals to join our animal care team. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care and enrichment for dogs, while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

About the Role

As an Animal Attendant, you will be responsible for supervising groups of dogs and managing their behaviors to maintain a safe and healthy environment. This will include providing canine enrichment through play and scheduled activities, as well as implementing daily leadership and training activities.

You will also be responsible for frequent cleaning and upkeep of the facility, as well as building and maintaining rapport with dog owners through daily feedback and transparency. Additionally, you will create and distribute media content for our dog owners through videos and photos, and perform daily administration tasks such as answering enquiries and record keeping.

Requirements
  • Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within Fair Work guidelines)
  • Confident in physically handling larger dog breeds
  • High level of communication and empathetic in nature
  • Able to work long days, on your feet, in a high-pressure environment
  • A strong desire to learn more about canine behavior and training
  • Comfortable with computer systems and phone applications
