Remote Park Maintenance Specialist

Location Overview

Breathtaking surroundings and a tranquil atmosphere await you in our Tjoritja / West MacDonnell Ranges National Park haven.

This remote location offers endless desert skies and 800-million-year-old cliffs, providing the perfect backdrop for a unique living experience.

As one of only two caretakers during maintenance periods, you'll enjoy solitude while still having access to nearby attractions and amenities.

The Role Summary

  • Maintain lawns, gardens & trees through regular upkeep
  • Ensure park facilities are well-maintained and operational
  • Respond promptly to after-hours call-outs and emergencies
  • Prioritize safety and compliance at all times

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Bring relevant grounds or maintenance experience (trade skills highly regarded)
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) protocols
  • Hold a valid full driver's license
  • Be willing to adapt to a dynamic, remote environment
