We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in regional North Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals or new graduates looking to make a difference in the lives of rural communities.

About the Role:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will work collaboratively with other specialists to provide holistic care and long-term treatment and prevention strategies for clients with speech, language, learning and communication disorders or swallowing difficulties. You will administer standardised and informal assessments to determine the nature and extent of their conditions, and develop individualised treatment plans to support their recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech pathology services to clients across the lifespan, from early childhood to older adults
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Administer standardised and informal assessments to determine the nature and extent of clients' conditions
  • Develop individualised treatment plans to support clients' recovery and improve their quality of life
