Are you ready to launch your career in civil engineering? Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to provide a smooth start to your consulting career.

As a graduate civil engineer, you will be part of our rail team delivering innovative solutions to keep trains moving and infrastructure resilient. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team to deliver major rail projects and contributing to these projects
  • Designing and optimising track structures and alignments for safe, efficient, and high-performance rail networks
  • Understanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and contributing to technical reports, designs and specifications, proposals and presentations
  • Tackling complex challenges in special trackwork and transit space design, ensuring curves, turnouts and crossovers meet exacting standards

In year one, you'll focus on the fundamentals of consulting to help you find your rhythm in the industry. In year two, you'll have flexibility to deepen your technical development or learn from mentors.

Our program structure provides exposure to design teams, bids and tenders, and occasional site work. You'll also have opportunities to showcase your communication skills and explain where you'd like to grow within your career.
