Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

Job Description:

Conduct clinical research and coordinate nursing procedures in a dynamic environment. As a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator, you will work closely with investigators, coordinators, pharmacists, specialists, and general practitioners to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, screen, and consent patients for clinical trials.
  • Perform nursing procedures such as blood draws, IV cannulation, ECGs, vital signs, and sample collection.
  • Administer investigational products (oral, IV, or injection) in line with study protocols.
  • Monitor patients closely for adverse events and provide appropriate clinical care.
  • Ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collect, record, and maintain accurate study data and source documentation.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience in clinical research or clinical trials (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of GCP and clinical trial procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
