Role Summary

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions Services team. This entry-level role will be based in the Sydney office, with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The well-established Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) team provides an opportunity to learn and grow within the insurance industry, through fantastic levels of mentoring and development opportunities. You can expect to gain experience on a vast range of transactions for Australia's leading corporations and financial firms.

This motivated and highly professional team is looking for an individual who is committed to excellence in their work and has a passion for learning the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft new business proposals, engagement documentation, and due diligence reports while coordinating services provided by other practices.
  • Support the growth of the PEMA function within the Australia market.
  • Provide risk management advice to buyers and sellers.
  • Maintain a contact database for private equity clients to develop and nurture relationships with PEMA target clients and prospects, aiming to leverage these into future business opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal practice groups to implement insurance placements and contribute to various due diligence projects, including client reporting.
  • Ensure databases are maintained for income and project tracking purposes.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Communications.
  • Strong data analysis, general and specific document research, report writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to expert level competency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
