Job Overview:

In this senior accounting role, you will manage client relationships, oversee project delivery, and ensure client satisfaction. This position involves a mix of client interaction and accounting tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compliance processing as required.
  • Preparation of periodical Activity Statements.
  • Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns.
  • Client compliance tasks such as FBT Returns, TPAR [Contractor reporting], STP Reporting, Payroll Tax Returns, etc.
  • Mentoring and supporting other team members.
  • Client care point of contact/management of a group of clients.
  • Assistance in projects as and when required.
  • Participation in team training, events, and continuous improvement.
  • Business advisory/value-added work as directed/required.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting/client-facing roles in public practices or accounting firms.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
