Payroll Officer - EducationRole Overview

A top-tier educator boasting a strong reputation in the education sector is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team. Based in the Eastern Suburbs, this role offers a unique blend of challenge and reward, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process fortnightly payroll for 200 staff members, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages and salaries.
  • Manage all associated payments and calculations, including superannuation and PAYG.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 4 to 5 years of full-function experience in a payroll team or standalone role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience working in a mid-sized company managing a payroll of 100-200 staff, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle employee queries and provide clear, concise information.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to complete a Working with Children check, in accordance with the organisation's requirements.
