This position focuses on providing dedicated support to brokers in both regions by collaborating with various departments, including broker specialists, personal loan experts, underwriting, and settlement teams, to ensure successful outcomes for broker loan applications from initial discussions to final funding and settlement.

Located in our Melbourne office, this role aligns with the operational hours of our New Zealand broker business. The Broker Relationship Manager is essential for driving the growth of Latitude's broker channel in both NZ and AU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned brokers, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to their inquiries.
  • Communicate updates on products, policy modifications, and promotional initiatives to brokers.
  • Maintain consistent communication to keep brokers well-informed.
  • Collaborate with the State Leader to develop and implement a quarterly engagement plan to enhance broker utilization.
  • Assist brokers in scenario workshops and guide them through the submission and troubleshooting of loan applications for a seamless experience.
  • Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to achieve excellent outcomes for brokers and clients, managing deal scenarios, escalations, and training sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate broker performance metrics, including loan submissions, approval rates, and submission quality.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement to boost brokers' overall business performance and loan portfolio growth.


Candidate Profile:

  • Familiarity with asset and personal lending products and processes.
  • Understanding of basic lending principles.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to lending in both NZ and AU.
  • Insight into the New Zealand finance market is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in customer service or broker interactions.
  • Experience in a phone-based environment, fostering customer and B2B relationships.
  • Prior experience in Account Management or Relationship Management is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage time, meet deadlines, multitask, and a passion for helping teams achieve KPIs and objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic knowledge of CRM systems is beneficial.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
