We are seeking Cleaning Services Assistants to join our team at Costa House in Lara, Victoria.

As a not-for-profit organisation since 1922, Respect Aged Care serves older residents through high standard of care and community. Our focus is on giving back to older adults by fostering communities of belonging. We serve across multiple states with many homes and thousands of residents and employees.

The role involves providing cleaning services which contribute to a safe, clean and home-like living environment for residents and staff.

Maintaining cleanliness is crucial in our facilities. Key duties include:

  • Mopping, vacuuming and polishing floors, shampooing of carpets, damp dusting, waste management and restocking of supplies.
  • Assisting with laundry practices as required.
  • Maintaining records of completion of cleaning schedule duties.

This position requires strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will participate in our infection control program and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will require training or experience in cleaning. Additionally, current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire) and knowledge and experience in chemical handling are essential. Experience in residential aged care is also beneficial.
