Senior Agricultural Operations Manager

This senior leadership role oversees the daily operations of our agricultural business, ensuring optimal crop production and effective team management.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive operational plans, aligning with business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to Team Leaders and farm staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Crop Management: Oversee crop schedules, ensure timely planting and harvesting, and optimize yield through data-driven decision making.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, track expenses, and monitor financial performance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with crop production, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in agricultural operations management, with a strong background in strategic planning, team leadership, and crop management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
