We are seeking individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct support to participants with a disability in their home and in the community.

Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, inclusive, and meaningful supports to enable individuals to live independently and experience wellbeing.

The role involves assisting participants with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, gardening, and laundry.

Additionally, you will provide overnight supports, including passive and active care, and assist with complex needs such as catheter, tracheostomy, PEG, and stoma management.

Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for experienced and motivated individuals who possess transferable skills, lived experience, or qualifications in the community services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to participants with a disability in their home and in the community
  • Support participants to live independently in individualised living arrangements
  • Assist with personal care and general household duties

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a Certificate III or above in Disability / Individual Support, Studying or equivalent (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current DCSI Screening / NDIS Worker Check
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Ability to use computers, tablets, and smartphones
  • Unrestricted South Australian Driver's License

Pay:

$32.40 - $45.00 per hour

Expected Hours:

15 - 40 per week
