Logistics Coordinator Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to join our Maritime business in Adelaide. The role involves coordinating receipt, inspection, and handling of incoming items, ensuring documentation is complete and aligned with project expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate receipt, inspection, and handling of incoming items. Ensure documentation is complete and aligned with project expectations.
  • Support inventory updates while maintaining accurate record keeping.
  • Coordinate material movements between sites, including preparing items for transport and ensuring safe handling procedures are followed.
  • Assist in compiling and quality-checking connector kits under direction from engineering teams.
  • Prepare and submit asset tracking and stocktake reports for review by the Supply Support Lead.
  • Support site inspections and depopulation activities at designated locations.
  • Provide direct support to the DDG Supply Chain team and the Supply Support Lead.
  • Highlight and escalate risks impacting Receipt of Material in Yard (RMIY) milestones.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory coordination. Familiarity with inventory management systems is also beneficial.

About You:
  • Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory coordination.
  • Familiarity with inventory or material management systems.
  • Exposure to Defence logistics, hazmat, or demil processes is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting multi-stakeholder delivery environments.
  • Ability to work independently and under close supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
