Cardiac Nurse Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for a motivated Cardiac Nurse to join the dynamic and supportive team at our hospital.

Job Description:

Delivering high-quality patient care is paramount in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing coronary angiograms, pacemakers, angioplasty, EPS, ablations, and other cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading quality improvement projects to deliver desired outcomes;
  • Collaborating with the Cath Lab team on cardiovascular procedures;
  • Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
  • Acting as a role model for best practice;

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration;
  • At least 3 years of nursing experience in a cath lab setting;
  • Post Graduate Qualifications in Cardiac care;
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused;
