Key Economic and Business Studies Teacher Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Economics and Business Studies teacher to join our Social Sciences Department.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving outstanding learning outcomes for students and conducting themselves in a manner that is edifying to all and honouring to the school.

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in Economics and Business Studies.
  • Design and implement engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their academic progress.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to, and support of, the School's Mission and Values Statement.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Teaching Economics and Business Studies to students from Years 9-12.
  • Developing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver cohesive learning experiences.

Applicants should have a sound understanding of the Australian Curriculum and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
