Main Responsibilities:
  • Cost Management and Analysis: Plan, study, and collect data to determine relevant input costs; analyze changes in product design or manufacturing methods to assess their effect on cost.
  • Inventory Control: Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory, ensure adequate provisions, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Budget and Monthly Reporting: Complete month-end tasks, including GL reconciliations, and work closely with the FP&A team to monitor actual performance against budget/forecast.
  • Cost Systems, Data, and Process Management: Maintain the integrity of standard costs and price list master data, and ensure the continuing relevance and currency of the cost accounting policy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with 2-5 years' experience in a similar commercial finance role, with strong commercial finance acumen, financial modelling experience, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage key stakeholders.
  • Pro-active and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Superior stakeholder management, including advanced influencing and negotiation skills.
