Lead State-Wide System Improvement Strategist

The successful candidate will lead the effective design, delivery and refinement of strategies to address barriers to discharge experienced by hospital patients accessing community services.

This role requires strategic advice and leadership to ensure the implementation of state and national reforms. The successful candidate will work closely with Local Health Networks (LHNs) and key stakeholders to co-design and develop these strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing organisational and policy advice to support the development of state-wide system improvement strategies
  • Leading the coordination of these strategies across various stakeholders
  • Liaising with the NDIS, Commonwealth Government and Department of Human Services to optimise outcomes for South Australia
  • Representing the state in national forums and committees to provide high-level advice on state and national matters
  • Day-to-day management of a team responsible for community services and partnerships

A bachelor's degree in an Allied Health discipline or equivalent registration with APHRA is essential. Membership of a relevant professional association is also desirable.
