Senior Manager, Regulatory Breach Reporting

This new leadership role will play a critical part in leading the Line 2 Compliance function in respect of compliance incidents and breaches. The Senior Manager will provide expert advice on regulatory requirements to ensure we operate in compliance with our policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Regulatory Breach Reporting and Compliance team to provide expert advisory services and support on compliance incidents and breach reporting.
- Develop and enhance comprehensive incident and breach management frameworks, policies, and processes to effectively manage compliance risks.
- Undertake compliance assessments of compliance incidents to support the regulatory breach assessment process.
- Provide compliance advice, insights, and trends to key stakeholders, including boards, committees, and other forums.
- Prepare reporting to regulators in respect of investigations, breaches, and responding to regulatory requests for information.
Requirements:
- Experienced compliance or legal professional with proven leadership exposure in regulatory compliance, incident, and breach management within the Australian financial services industry.
- Experience working in or providing services to a regulated financial services organization, with a strong understanding of regulatory obligations.
- Ability to rapidly analyze and communicate complex matters in a commercially sensible way.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Risk Management systems, frameworks, and processes.
