Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in a dynamic consulting role.

This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional therapy and take on a new challenge as a Speech and Language Consultant.

As a key member of our team, you will advise clients on speech and language development best practices, collaborating with educators, professionals, and parents to create tailored early development plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting client assessments and developing individualized intervention plans
  • Overseeing and generating home, school, or centre-based therapy programs for clients to implement with therapy assistants
  • Organizing groups and workshops for clients and parents
  • Managing clients to ensure clear, multidisciplinary 6-month intervention plans in collaboration with other consultants

You do not need to be a registered therapist to apply; this role suits professionals with substantial knowledge and experience, even if their registration has lapsed.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to learn, honest, kind, and passionate about setting children and families up for success. Ability to work independently within our flat organizational structure is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include relevant education and training, preferably in the field of speech and language pathology.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

A strong understanding of child development principles and practices is essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
